Terms of Use

1. Definitions

• "Company," "we," "our," or "us" means Selenthir Sp. z o.o., a limited liability company organised under the laws of Poland, with its registered office at Tysiąclecia 35 / 41, 41-303 Dąbrowa Górnicza, Poland (KRS: 0001227518, NIP: PL6292521423).
• "Service" or "PathExplorer" means the PathExplorer website at https://pathexplorer.app/ and its related features.
• "User," "you," or "your" means any person accessing or using the Service.
• "Listing" or "Job Listing" means an individual job posting that PathExplorer has ingested from a third-party source and displays through the Service.
• "Source Platform" means any third-party job API or website from which Listings originate, including Adzuna, Jooble, Arbeitnow, Remotive, and Jobicy.
• "Apply Redirect" means the tracked HTTP 302 redirect (/go/[jobId]) that sends you from a Listing to the original posting on the relevant Source Platform.
• "Public API" means the read-only, versioned API (/api/v1/*) made available to authorised partners under separate credentials and agreement.

2. Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms of Use are entered into by and between the Company and you, the User. They govern your access to and use of PathExplorer. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

The Service is provided free of charge, requires no account or registration, and does not process payments.

3. Nature of the Service

PathExplorer is a job listing aggregation and discovery service. It ingests publicly available Listings from third-party Source Platforms, normalises and stores them, and presents them through a searchable, filterable interface together with aggregate market-trend data.

PathExplorer is not an employer, recruiter, staffing agency, or employment intermediary. We do not create original job postings, we do not accept or process job applications, and we are not a party to any communication, application, hiring decision, or employment relationship between you and any employer or Source Platform.

When you choose to apply for a Listing, the Apply Redirect sends you to the original posting on the relevant Source Platform. The entire application process takes place on that Source Platform, under its own terms and privacy policy. PathExplorer never receives, stores, or forwards your application.

4. Use of the Service

No account required. You may browse, search, filter, and view Listings, and access aggregate market-trend data, freely and without registering an account or providing any personal details.

Free of charge. PathExplorer does not charge users any fee and does not process payments. There are no paid tiers, subscriptions, or purchases.

You must use the Service lawfully and in accordance with these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

PathExplorer's data pipeline is subject to the terms of service of each upstream Source Platform, several of which prohibit secondary redistribution and impose strict rate limits. You agree that you will not:

• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download Listings or aggregate data for the purpose of redistribution, resale, republication, or use in a competing product or service.
• Automate access to the Service in a manner that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure, degrades service availability, or circumvents upstream Source Platform rate limits, except for well-behaved access to resources we explicitly make public (e.g. honouring robots.txt).
• Republish Remotive or Jobicy Listings on any third-party aggregator. This restriction passes through the upstream Source Platforms' own terms and is non-negotiable.
• Strip, alter, or circumvent source attribution or the Apply Redirect, including removing attribution labels or the UTM parameters appended to apply URLs.
• Misrepresent PathExplorer - for example by holding it out as an employer, recruiter, application portal, or the originator of any Listing.
• Harvest contact details or other information from Listings for unsolicited outreach, spam, or any purpose that violates applicable law.
• Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law or infringes the rights of any third party.

We reserve the right to restrict or block access (including by IP or network) where we reasonably believe these Terms are being violated.

6. Job Listings and Third-Party Content

Origin of content. All Listing content - titles, descriptions, company names, logos, salaries, and apply URLs - originates from the respective employers and Source Platforms. PathExplorer reproduces this content as received and holds no claim to it.

Attribution. Every Listing displays a source-attribution label (e.g. "via Remotive") and links back to the original posting via its apply URL. This attribution is required by the Source Platforms' terms and must not be removed or obscured.

No verification. PathExplorer does not verify the accuracy, completeness, currency, availability, or legitimacy of any Listing. Listings may be out of date, already filled, or withdrawn by the time you view them.

No endorsement. The presence of a Listing does not constitute an endorsement of, or affiliation with, the employer or Source Platform. We are not responsible for the conduct of any employer or Source Platform, nor for the content, accuracy, or safety of any external site reached through the Apply Redirect.

7. Intellectual Property

Third-party content. Listing content remains the property of the respective employers and Source Platforms. PathExplorer asserts no ownership over it, and your use of it is subject to the rights of those owners and the Source Platforms' terms.

PathExplorer's own IP. The Service's normalisation pipeline, user interface, trend-analytics layer, aggregation infrastructure, design, and branding are owned by the Company and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from these elements without our prior written permission.

Permitted personal use. You may view and use Listings and trend data for your own personal, non-commercial job-search purposes. Any other use - including the prohibited uses in Section 5 - is not permitted.

8. The Public API

The Public API (/api/v1/*) is a separate, credentialed service intended for authorised partners (such as CareerSeeker AI) under a distinct partner agreement. It is not available to general Users, and nothing in these Terms grants you any right to access it.

9. Disclaimers - "As Is"

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that Listings will be accurate, current, available, or suitable for any particular purpose.

Any reliance you place on a Listing or on aggregate trend data is at your own risk. You should independently verify any Listing directly with the employer or Source Platform before acting on it.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of opportunity, employment, data, or profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Service or any external site reached through it.

The Company is not responsible for any decision you make, or any loss you suffer, based on a Listing, the absence of a Listing, or aggregate trend data presented on the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Polish or EU law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Your statutory rights as a consumer, where applicable, are not affected.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference.

PathExplorer is designed to collect minimal data: there are no accounts, and the only activity data written to our database is an anonymous record of search terms not linked to any individual. Apply-clicks are not logged by us.

12. Availability and Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, add, or remove features of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

We do not guarantee uptime or uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upstream Source Platform changes, infrastructure issues, or factors beyond our control.

Because Listings depend on third-party Source Platforms and their rate limits and terms, the availability, freshness, and coverage of Listings may change without notice.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Polish courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Service, or legal requirements. Material changes will be announced with reasonable notice via the website. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should discontinue use of the Service.
